In this essay, we embark on a captivating journey through time, tracing the evolution of labor from the earliest recorded history to speculative futures. We navigate through five distinctive phases: Slavery, Serfdom, Wage Workers, the age of AI, Robotics, and Automation, and finally, the era of Bio-Enhanced Humans.

I would like to give a little background about myself. I was born and raised in Peshawar, Pakistan. After completing high school, I came to the United States for my undergraduate and graduate education. I earned my undergraduate degree from the University of Wisconsin at Madison and then worked for a CPA firm in downtown Chicago for about four years. After that, I started my own CPA firm, which I have been running ever since. I am married to a princess, and I have two wonderful teenage sons.
